  1. Absolutely beautiful. In India, we celebrate a festival called Golu, for 9 nine days in Sep-Oct every year. Furing this festival we arrange dolls in steps and invite people over to view them, followed by dinner. Each year we add a new doll or set to our collection. The Matryoshka dolls were regular features in our Golus. Thank you for kindling these lovely memories.

  7. Oh my gosh, the cats!! I love these. My dad studied Russian and visited a few times and brought me a set of these dolls. I’ve followed your blog and hope that maybe in the next year or two I can commission a personalized set! These are beautiful.
